The Giant Swing stands in front of Wat Suthat — look, then leave; it is not a half-day of its own. How to close: same old-town north ring as Wat Suthat, Loha Prasat and the Golden Mount; murals and the climb are the main stop; Khaosan waits until after dark. Do not stand in the traffic lanes, and do not bounce to the palace or add a mall. Temple opening follows the door that day.
