Do not force an old map
Three things differ from old guides. Most long-distance trains use the north terminal at Bang Sue. Hua Lamphong is still the metro and the old gate for the golden Buddha and Yaowarat. One Bangkok beside Lumphini is rain cover and a transfer, not a hall you must finish. Benjakitti forest is the newer walk; do not stay on the exposed section in an afternoon storm. The old Blue Line stored-value card stopped in June 2026. The orange express line is not the tourist boat.
